Ground improvement refers to the techniques and processes used to enhance the engineering properties of soil or ground materials to make them more suitable for construction or other purposes. It is often employed when the natural soil conditions at a construction site are not ideal for the intended project. Ground improvement methods can help increase the load-bearing capacity of the soil, reduce settlement, control seepage, and mitigate other geotechnical challenges.
